INTRA is a specialty coffee and food venue located in leafy Campbell, ACT. We pride ourselves on providing an outstanding service that is casual and relaxed . We love all things coffee, food, wine.
Our house blend is roasted by local legends Barrio Collective Coffee. The blend rotates seasonally depending on which single origins are peaking at the time. We also feature single origins roasted by Edition Coffee Roasters (Sydney) who provide exceptional, brilliantly roasted rarely seen coffees that also rotate frequently.
Our head chef is the brilliant Aidan Kidson. Having returned back to Canberra in 2020 after a stint at St. John in London, he brings a world of knowledge to our team. His focus on simple yet enjoyable and sustainable food is a driving principle in our menu. The menu takes a conscious approach to seasonality, a growing focus on preserving and fermenting and a springboard to showcasing lesser known cuts of meat.
INTRA focuses on opening dialogues within our community around food wastage and the head to tail approach to cooking. We also aim to reduce our waste and employ many initiatives to combat waste. Highlights of this are making cheese from leftover milk, giving food scraps to chicken farms, sending coffee grounds to schools to use for compost and trying to use cuts of meat that would normally end up in the abattoir bin.
